What is Super Gut & How Can It Support You?

I see gut issues every day. Bloating, irregular bowels, discomfort after meals, feeling heavy or just not quite right. And while the symptoms vary, the root cause is often the same, an under supported gut microbiome.
That’s what led us to create Super Gut.
Our goal wasn’t to make another probiotic. It was to build a daily gut formula that works at the foundations, using natural and organic ingredients that support your body the way it’s designed to work.
Where gut health really happens
Digestion starts in the mouth and stomach, and most nutrients are absorbed in the small intestine. But when it comes to gut health, the biggest benefits happen further down the line, in the large intestine.
This is where dietary fibre feeds your gut bacteria. Those bacteria then ferment fibre into compounds called short chain fatty acids, including butyrate. Butyrate is especially important because it’s the main fuel source for your gut lining. It helps protect the gut barrier, supports repair and plays a role in immune health.
When this system isn’t working well, it often shows up as bloating, loose, hard or infrequent stools or ongoing digestive discomfort.
Most Australians don’t get enough fibre, and even fewer get enough different types of fibre. Fibre diversity matters because different fibres feed different gut microbes. A diverse microbiome is what supports smoother digestion, regular bowel movements and a more resilient gut lining.
That’s why Super Gut focuses on both fibre quantity and fibre variety.
We built Super Gut around four simple but essential gut jobs.
1. Add the good guys
Probiotics help introduce beneficial microbes into the gut and support a healthy balance of bacteria.
Super Gut includes three clinically studied strains chosen for their survivability and digestive support.
Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG supports microbiome balance and digestive comfort. Although this strain is delicate and can be affected by stomach acid and heat, we’ve used a microencapsulated version to ensure it survives and reaches the gut.
Saccharomyces boulardii is a resilient probiotic yeast that survives stomach acid and heat and is often used to support gut recovery, especially after antibiotics.
Bacillus coagulans is a spore forming probiotic that reaches the intestines alive and supports overall digestive comfort and regularity.
2. Feed the good guys
Probiotics only work well when they’re properly fed. That’s where prebiotics come in.
Prebiotics are fibres that bypass digestion in the upper gut and reach the large intestine intact. There, they feed your gut bacteria and are fermented into short chain fatty acids.
Super Gut includes a diverse prebiotic blend so different microbes are supported in different ways.
Acacia fibre and partially hydrolysed guar gum are gentle, well tolerated soluble fibres. Green banana resistant starch feeds beneficial bacteria deeper in the colon. Inulin from Jerusalem artichoke and fructooligosaccharides from chicory root help support beneficial species like bifidobacteria.
Each fibre ferments at a different speed, which helps build a stronger, more resilient microbiome without overwhelming digestion.
3. Support regularity
Regular bowel movements rely on the right balance of fibre.
Soluble fibre helps soften stools and slow digestion, while insoluble fibre adds bulk and helps keep things moving. Super Gut includes both, so you’re supporting regularity while also feeding your gut bacteria.
Psyllium husk plays an important role here, alongside the broader fibre blend, helping support comfortable and consistent digestion.
4. Repair and restore the gut lining
Fibre fermentation produces short chain fatty acids that help fuel gut cells, but we also wanted to support the gut lining directly.
That’s why Super Gut includes soothing botanicals like aloe vera, ginger and turmeric. These ingredients help calm the gut, support repair and are especially helpful for anyone with sensitive or reactive digestion.
Why Super Gut feels different
Super Gut isn’t just probiotics. It’s a complete gut support system designed to work from multiple angles.
By combining diverse fibres, scientifically studied probiotics and soothing botanicals, it supports bloating, digestive comfort, regularity, gut repair and microbiome balance in one simple daily scoop.
How to use it
Simply add one serve of Super Gut into 250 mL of cold water and mix well. For children or anyone new to fibre, we recommend starting with half a serve. If you aren’t new to fibre, but notice some digestive discomfort within the first few days of use, we recommend reducing to a half dose and increasing as tolerance builds.
Taking it alongside other supplements
Some high-fibre products can influence the absorption of certain supplements or medications when taken at the same time.
Our gut product contains a blend of prebiotic fibres and probiotics designed to support digestive health. For most people, it’s generally fine to take alongside other supplements like greens or creatine. However, because fibre can slow digestion, it may affect the absorption of some nutrients or medications for certain individuals, depending on the type and timing.
To be on the safe side, if you’re taking medications or supplements where absorption timing is important, we recommend spacing them out (for example, taking them at different times of the day).
Super Gut is some of my proudest work as a nutritionist, and I’m so excited for you to experience the difference that truly supported gut health can make.
